What do we do with your personal information and/or documentation

Your loan file is kept in a secure locked location. Only authorised credit staff have access to your loan file.

Once your loan has settled your details are kept in a secure location as required by particular lenders for auditing purposes and by Law. Access to this information is only by authorised staff of The Edge Home Loans.

On occasion you may be contacted by our staff for the purpose of special promotions or direct marketing offers. If you do not wish to be contacted in the future, simply advise our friendly staff and we will remove you from our marketing database.

Who else will we disclose your information to

Your documentation and loan information is passed on to the appropriate lender your loan is being financed through. Each individual Lender has its own privacy policies and procedures. Your information will only be disclosed to parties already consented to by you.

In the instance where The Edge Home Loans is compelled by Law to provide information to various authorities we will do so as requested. As you can appreciate it is our duty to provide all information to government authorities if and when compelled.

How long will we hold onto your information

We are required by Law to hold your information for a specific period, after this time your documents will be destroyed. By Law we are required to hold particular information about you even after you are no longer a customer however, once the specific time has passed your remaining information will be destroyed.

The Edge Home Loans values our clients. We aim to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction. If you feel this has not been achieved or feel your privacy has been breached then we need to know.
